Hey Friend!
I hope you’re doing well.
It’s been a while since we last talked, so I wanted to drop you a message and update you on what I’ve been up to in the past couple of years.
You know me, I’m seen as the crazy innovator, always aiming to do things differently. I never stop working on the next greatest thing, model, or invention.
I’ve had the chance to collaborate with some remarkable people and be involved in some great business projects, and for that, I’m grateful.
But after doing some soul-searching and reflecting, I felt there was something failing in my life, and I needed to question my principles, choices and values and try to find a purpose beyond just work.
After a journey of self-discovery, I found renewed energy and purpose, picking up some cool projects I have been working on for a long time.
This means I have some pretty exciting plans for 2023!
I’m a firm believer that small but efficient teams can achieve great results. In the past, I’ve always had a tight and amazing team working for me.
But ever since the pandemic, I had to do things differently.
It’s why I’ve often taken on big projects nearly single-handedly or with small teams, but my physical and mental health paid the price.
I am capable of incredible and extraordinary things, but everyone needs a helping hand from time-to-time, even super-geniuses (cough.).
That’s why I’m now downsizing the number of activities I engage in so that I can guarantee quality and my wellbeing at the same time.
I will still be your multidisciplinary misfit doing impossible things, but just not a hundred at the same time. 80 simultaneous projects seems more reasonable, right?
I am also actively reaching out to extremely talented people to help me with future workload, and will reach out to many great people and experts that have worked for me in the past decade.
Just for the record—No active clients or projects have suffered from my decision to downscale and focus.
As I head further into this new direction, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me until now.
It means a lot to me, and it’s such an incredible morale booster. I look forward to keeping up the good work, building up better projects and making a difference in the world.
All the best,
Benno
